Bybit is a Dubai-based cryptocurrency exchange founded in March 2018 by Ben Zhou, a Singaporean entrepreneur and former General Manager of the Greater China region for forex broker XM. The company relocated its headquarters from Singapore to Dubai, UAE in 2022. As of 2025, Bybit is the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume.

Note: In February 2025, Bybit experienced a significant security incident resulting in losses of approximately $1.5 billion in assets, attributed to the Lazarus Group. The exchange has since enhanced its security infrastructure.
